One of Davie Kaplan Chapman & Braverman, P.C.'s specialties is providing audit and consulting services to retirement and employee benefit plans. While many of our clients use these services as part of the overall accounting services we provide, we also provide these services to businesses who use separate accountants for their other needs.

Clients look to us for plan audits for two important reasons.

First is our expertise in this area of auditing. We count larger multi-employer, collectively bargained, multiple-plan, single-employer, and Employee Stock Ownership plans among our clients. Our firm is skilled in dealing with the audit requirements of ERISA, as well as the ever-increasing requirements of the Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service.

Secondly, we offer our expertise at competitive rates and help each client fulfill their compliance requirements at reasonable cost to the plan. Full audits are available when required by ERISA. Our staff is highly skilled and experienced.

Davie Kaplan Chapman & Braverman, P.C. Employee Benefits Services Group provides a wide range of services to sponsors of pension, profit sharing, 401(k), Employee Stock Ownership 403(b) and nonqualified retirement plans and other types of employee benefit plans, such as cafeteria plans.

Plan consulting and administration

Because we are a full service firm, Davie Kaplan Chapman & Braverman, P.C. has the professional staff and experience to analyze your company's needs with regard to employee benefits. Davie Kaplan Chapman & Braverman, P.C. has significant experience in employee benefit plan consulting, from which we have developed our expertise in retirement plans, both tax qualified and non-qualified. We offer assistance in your selection of an investment custodian firm and the development and implementation of an effective retirement program. We provide orientation and training for your employees, which generally increases plan participation.

Davie Kaplan Chapman & Braverman, P.C. can also provide all the necessary plan administration services, or refer you to an established third party administrator from whom we have a long standing relationship. We will prepare the complete plan document and other filings necessary for compliance with the Department of Labor, and prepare form 5500 for filing with the Internal Revenue Service.
